Game Cam. II

Are a peace of junk as far as I am conserned!
Since Oct. I have had mine sent back to the company (at my expence)4 times (this will be #5), 7 roles of film and developing, 3 new 6 volt batterys and 6 d cells, (Not including the DEAD rechargable batt.) 8 round trips to the lease adds up to 16 hrs on the road.
Each time they say the camera or board is bad and replace it. Guess What? Just got the film back and IT STILL DONT WORK!
I have followed their directions to a T. Im glad that I did not take it out this time, I placed it in the back yard.
You can walk slowly right past this thing and NOTHING. This one isnt even puting the time info on the picture.
I even changed the direction as some have suggested.
I would not recomend this product to anyone!

I have 2 of them and haven't had any problems. In freezing cold, it seems that a lot of the game cams don't imprint the time and date on the pics. Also, don't use more than 24 exposure film in the cold. It is too hard for the camera to advance when cold. I'm not saying there aren't problems with the Moultrie Game Cam II, I myself just haven't had any after probably 20-30 rolls of film. It is 98.42 at Wal-mart.

Sa,
I have had nothing but trouble with this since I bought it. I have not had one picture of any wildlife even though there are tracks not 2 ft in front of it.
This last time I placed it in my back yard and let it take a role of 24 pictures of us and my golden ret. just to test it. I walked in front of it at about 5 yards at a normal pase. I cought my grandsons playing so I got them involved, played with the dog, even got my wife carrying out the trash. Took the film in and there is only one picture and it just barely cought my wife taking out the trash. All other pictures taken is just of the back yard.
This is with brand new batteries that were tested before puting them in.
The temps here have not been lower than 40 and the average so far has been around 60. so the temps are not a problem.
At this point to get a picture of anything it would have to walk in front of the camera and die.

Who
Is it actually taking the pictures? When you load new the film in it the camera should be reading a "1" if it's loaded correctly. When you go back to retrieve the film, if it has any number on the counter other than a "0" it needs to be rewound before you open it up. Also, alll the bateries need to be hooked up before you load up the film. You probably already know this but just checking.

Who, I had one. The thing worked AWSOME, I got tons of pics of deer, turkey, and a BIG ol Pennsylvania black bear, but, for some reason, the stupid thing just started messing up. Out of nowhere it would just start talking pictures when the sun rose in the mornings, and, with that, it had a problem of when it took one picture, it didn't stop taking pics till the camera was done. I took the thing back, I am planning on getting a DeerCam DC-100 in the Spring. I looked at a comparison chart of alot of game cameras and the DC-100 had 95% of everything that I wanted where as all other cameras were 80% or less. It is also less expensive than most, $279.99
What is nice about the DC-100 is that if you want to take a little more time to program it, you can have it set up to be voice activated. YES, VOICE ACTIVATED!! It is small, unlike the Game Cam II which was huge. It also has a textured treebark camo pattern so it will blend in. It will record up to 500 events of animals passing through the infrared beam. Here is a link to cabelas, check it out
