Cows and Deer

Everyday in the fall as I drive to work, I pass a farm that has a large valley. Everyday there is at least 4 or 5 deer eating in the morning within 100 yards of cows. You will still see deer. Yesterday there was a post on here from a gentleman who said he saw a buck while hunting that same kind of situation but as he tried to use his grunt call the deer just kept looking at the cows. I don't think it will stop them from coming in but you'll have to find out what kind of calls or scents might work

Thanks guys. The reason i asked was that i have been hunting an area with cows and i'v seen very little deer. This morning i went an area with no cows and i seen a ton of deer. But i guess that is just my bad luck.

I think if the cows were recently introduced to the area you hunt, the deer might avoid them for awhile. In any case, you just need to go back to the area you saw all the deer in. The cows aren't a factor in this, just more deer in another area.
