Default Hunting in the rain

Today is a rainy day, and i was hunting who goes out and hunts. I was out for alittle bit, but didnt see anything move. Do the deer just bed down and hold to one area real tight. Last night they where on the move for sure. They where everywhere moving around. Was this because they knew that it was going to rain?

If you know(by weather reports ) that it should stop raining soon be on stand, they often come out right when it stops. A light drizzle doesn't faze them,

good question. i want to go out tomarrow, but there is a 80% chance of rain. im not sure to go or not. i know people do hunt, but my hunting ground isnt exactly close to me, so its not like i can walk out my back door and go hunt and stop if its raining (like some lucky people lol) , i must drive 45 minutes. im not sure tho, i would think if its a downpoor i wouldnt go, but i can take some drizzle. see what others say

I hunted in the rain last week and didn't see a thing. As I was in my stand I wondering how hard it would be to track a blood trail in the rain. Does anyone have any experience?

yea i want to go bad also. guess ill have to wait til tomarrow and see. storms are one thing, but i can deal with a light drizzle. i heard they do move more when its raining, which is fine with me, as long as it is semi comfortable to sit out there with no cover

Tuesday here in PA it rained all day long.. and mostly heavy showers.. i still decided i wanted to go out and sit on stand... I got to see a good size 8 point, could have been a 10 point, and my buddy saw a 4 point.. I honestly think even if its a tornado, if you are in the woods, you have a better chance of seeing a deer than in your kitchen or on your couch...

I haven't experienced this first hand (blood trail) because I usually do not go out if it is raining steadily. I've been hunting while it started to rain...I just sit it out.

You won't have much of a blood trail in the rain. It will wash away pretty quickly depending on the amount of rain.
