I am novice bowhunter of 2 years and am still learning a great deal as time goes on. My question is: what do you do when the deer in the area are mostly only coming out at night?? Is it that I am just setting up in the wrong spot or any of you having the same problem. I know that deer are mainly diurnal and nocturnal by nature, but what I am seeing is strictly nocturnal. Any help with this would be great.
Thanks

Setting up near a bedding area would probably be ideal...of course be careful of the wind as to not get busted. Also, especially during a full moon like now, deer that are nocturnal tend to get up and move midday, between 10-2 pm. Hunt it midday if possible. Once the rut really kicks in, nocturnal bucks tend to let their guard down and move during daylight hours. Good luck!

night vision goggles would help
but since that's not legal best betwould be to get close to the bedding area. The chase period ofthe rut should have started or is about to so the best bet isto log stand time.
