I (and Rob) can assure you the deer here are far from tame. Ther emight be a bunch of 'em.....but they're as wild as anywhere. They tolerate humans on THEIR terms. Step outside their comfort level, though....and you're screwed.

Ithink they pattern us (humans) a LOT better than we pattern them.

I was only speaking of the deer in that photo and the ones I see in the Metroparks... I was not making any mention of your local deer.

I uh.. guess the homeowner is not a hunter but how do the deer know that ahead of time....
Just looked out and not ONE decent buck standing in the back yard..

That's true Scott, I didn't even think of that. I met a guy once that lives outside Pittsburg. He told me he was in charge of his developement's housing what not...said it wasn't unusual to see kids feeding marshmellows to a huge 12 point....he'd sternly tell the parents not to allow it but..... i think im going to put some jet puff marshmellowsin my deer feeders instead of corn...maybe ill see more deer now.lol.
