I had two different four pointers within 25 yards of the blind, but didn't have "the" shot on either, so let them pass. I know it doesn't really count since I would have taken the shot if it was right.

I got three standsI havn't touched yet just in hopes of getting him when he starts looking for does. Its hard to turn away from any good buck but If you want a huge one you have to. You know you got the green light on anything you want to shoot next season. I hope you get a shot at a huge Kansas whitetail.

i passed up a huge 9 pt. it would easily score 160. the only bad thing is, that i have no doe tag and it was about 45 yards. NO Tag!!! it is so frustrating.

I'll tell you as soon as I am able to hunt for myself. My fall has been spend guiding customers and my wife. Now I'm done with that and its time to hunt for myself.
