Talk about exciting!! I got my wife into bowhunting last year in November. I bought her a bow, and all the acessories. I had already killed 3 deer and took her the rest of the year. She went every weekend and she was toughing it out. She wound up shooting at 3 deer and knicked them. All this time i'm in the tree with her getting all this on video. Well we have gone 4 times this year and on the forth day we had 8 does and lil ones comin up a hill bout 70 yards away. They headed away from us so i was talkin to her and she kept tellin me to Shh!! i was like what!?! She told me she was hearing something and at that time she told me she saw a buck bout 15 yds away. Well i slowly turn around and finally see him. I got the video cam on him and saw another buck withhim. It was a 4-point and a 6-point. The four was bigger and had no brow tines so he was the target buck. Anyway we were both excited, especially my wife. The buck was bout 8 yds away and turned broadside and she drew her bow back, and at that time he turned and walked closer to us and got under a tree branch. So she had to hold her bow back for like 2 min. I didnt think she could do it but she proved me wrong. Well then the buck walked out from the branch and she grunted at it to stop it from walking.At this time she said her heart was pounding in her throat, and she thought she was goin to fall out of the tree from shaking so bad, and couldn't steady the pin on him haha. She shot and made a great shot and we were so excited! I dont think i have ever been that nervous or happy all at the same time. I never get like that when i shoot one and i was only videoing haha. You could see her knees shaking hell mine were to haha. But i am so so proud of her! She was so happy she finally got one and that it was a buck. She trailed it and everything. I'm so glad i got a bowhunting parter that loves it as much as i do.
