You'll get that chance bud... don't you worry.

Oh yeah, just a word of advice: When the 7th of November rolls around and a doe comes running full speed and stops broadside at 20 yards with her tongue hanging out and looks back... don't shoot her!!!!

Are there any bucks on that property? All I hear you talk about is does. You have to have bucks around in order to kill one!!

This is what they look like.

LMAO....you've got a point my friend.

I hunted the first week of November there last year, and saw 6 different bucks. But, all but 1 were 2 1/2 or under, and a couple of those were yearlings. 2 years ago Brian shot a 165 opening day of rifle season off that property though. My late friend Darrell saw 2 one evening that he says went over 140.......We've just been so concerned w/ shooting deer that we were sitting in doe sets......And, like you eluded to earlier......If a doe walked by, we shot her. Didn't even give the buck a chance to show up. But we've been pretty diligent about shooting does and letting the buttons walk.

Now, 4 years ago we had some trouble w/ that.....In all, I think we killed 4 buttons that year....[:@] But that was back in the days before we gave a damn....[&:]
