Alright, guys! I got this guy Saturday night around 5:45. I had a spike come in browsing around 5:00 and minutes later this guy showed up; but never offered me a shot. About 10 minutes passed, and here comes a doe and two fawns that spook the 8 pointer a little bit and I figured he was gone. He took a couple leaps into the woods, but must have realized the doe and fawns weren't any harm and came back in to bow range, but still stood either straight on or quartering towards me, so I had no shot. Finally, 45 minutes after he first showed up,another doe comes from behind me and gets his attention enough to turn him broadside and before I knew it I was drawn and steady behind the shoulder. I pulled the release and watched the G5 do its work right on target. I caught both lungs, and he didn't go any more than 50 yards!

Needless to say, I am VERY satisfied with my first bow kill, and I'm pretty sure I was before, but now there's no doubt that I'm addicted!!!
