I just got a call from a friend in MO. and he told me that he heard about a guy killing a giant in MO near the Booneville Bottoms...Supposed to be 260"??? Anybody heard of it or got pictures to post....?????

I haven't heard anything about it, but I wouldn't be surprised......There's some sho'nough giants in that neck of the woods....

Now i'm gonna have to check this one out booneville is less than 2 hours from me. Have not heard anything yet.

Booneville is a town in central MO located along the MO river. The "Boonville Bottoms" reference the riverbottom in.............Boonville.

Booneville is about 30 miles or so from Columbia which is in the middle of the state. The bottoms is just the river bottoms. Highway 70 runs from St. Louis to Kansas City. Anything north of 70 up to Iowa and your getting into some good hunting.

yea if your town is located anywhere near the river you have "bottoms" half of my town is referred to as the "camden bottoms". Simply because we are on the river.
