maybe its just the way i read it. but i didn't see anywhere where it said he aimed for the spine on purpose. my guess is he is proly bout 25-30 feet high and didn't compensate for the angle and distance. and ended up shooting high.
Now the second shot i'm not sure i agree with. especially calling it a "desperation shot". |

You know, without pics and proof of a recovery, I might be inclined to go back to my original statement of.
 But if we do get pics of the deer, I can take it back again. This story just sounds a little off to me. Kinda fishy on the cover up with no pics of a buck. Just my opinion, for what it's worth.;) If he was worth shootin, he should be worth takin a picture of!!! |
