Couple Target Bucks....

I've got a few bucks that I've been watching but havent' been able to seal the deal as of yet. I had this first buck at about 60 yards the other afternoon. Might as well have been a mile! I didnt' notice it before, but he's got a small third beam coming just under his left base.
And this is another target buck. This pic makes his right G4 look short, but I would guess him to go in the high 150's, to low 160's. Great all around buck. He's also been close to getting it. Just a matter of time, and I got a lot of it!

The thought crossed my mind Rob, but it would have done me no good. He had one thing on his mind, and it was food.
It was such a close opportunity that it hurts the spirit a little though. Opportunities on big bucks are few and far between, so when you get that close and are unable to connect it's quite a disappointment.
Here are a couple other bucks from the same stand location:
Nice Ten Point, if he can squeak an inch out of that left G4.

Big Brow Tine Buck:

Tall Eight Point:

Needless to say, I like my odds at this location.

Yeah, I'm liking your odds too James, good luck again...
What I would have done as a last resort on that 60 yarder was turn my head and grunt back behind me. He'd either be interested or not but as it stands, there was no shot opportunity anyway. No harm, no fowl with grunts...
Hope you nail one soon to ease the mind and soul...
