Wilkes is producing some nice animals. This gentlemen just gave me permission to hunt some of his property, but I've got a tract in wilkes of about 40 acres. There is a monster 11pt roaming around I just can't catch him in daylight. I've got another friend in the Raleigh/Durham area, he's killed some nice deer the last couple of years. He killed a 140+ 10 last week.

Here are a couple of deer I killed last year in Wilkes, nothing close to that deer but decent for the area.

More and more big deer are being taken in Stokes and Wilkes AND Surry!

At least I hunt 2 out of 3 of em
