killing a record deer and stop hunting

if you could shoot a deer that would be a world record for 50 years or so

but must stop hunting for as long as it is the record would you shoot it

I'd shoot it but then not enter it if that were the case and keep hunting. That's simple.;)

As much as I would like to shoot a world record deer, there is a lot of hassle in doing so not to mention if I had to give up hunting. No way I would give it up, but I would shoot the deer.
