A friend of mine went to one of my old (haven't been to in a while) spots and noticed some scrapes on Saturday October 13. What he did and I don't really agree with it is he poured doe estrus directly onto the scrape then left a scent trail to his tree. I think the 13th was a little early for estrus use then on top of it, I'm not so sure if you should pour it directly onto a scrape. What are your thoughts on this?
Did what hedo potentially scare or at least educate the buck that owns that scrape? Oh btw- that buck was spotted on that same day checking that same scrape. He followed the scrent trail for about 50 yards then turned away towards the swamp. What do you think that meant?
Thanks

I know it's too early. I wasn't there so I don't know where he got the estrus. Probably last year's useless junk. How about my questions?
Thanks again.

You missed my point and still do.[8D] They don't bottle estrous...they bottle urine that may or may not have estrous in it at all...LOL[8D] and yes, I think it's early plus...if I was hunting a scrape, I'd use buck urine or none at all.
