How late in the morning I hunt is dependent on how close I am to the bedding area...One of my prime stands is close (50 yards) to two different cutovers...On this stand it is not uncommon to see deer moving to their bedding area from first light to 10:00 in the morning...

I have to agree with my mobow friend , why would you ( boogie )out so early ?
I have seen more deer move between the hours of 7:00 am to 11:00 am and in the evenings around 6:30 pm 8:30pm.
I would suggest you sit it out for a whlie longer and do a little gunt calling every 15 to 20 minutes , who knows you might get lucky and call one in that you didn't know was around.

It really depends like what is said above, on where you are in relation to where your deer are. It takes time for your deer to get from point A to point B and many times that might not be at first light. In my opinion you moved too soon as well.
In some of my stand locations I don't see deer until midmorning. One particular spot we didn't even expect to see deer until around 9:00 am. Sure we'd be there at first light just in case but it took time for the deer to come from the neighboring Ag fields to where we were on the oak flats.
