I pay $30......and he vacuum seals my backstrpas and inner tender loins.....and puts the sausage/burger in tubes (1 or 2lb tubes).

He also donates his services when I'm donating the meat to a family we both know. I just have to quarter my deer and take it to him in a cooler.

Either one is pretty close on cost to what I have seen around here. That is why I do it myself whenever possible. You know it is clean. You get exactly what you want. And is doesn't take that long. It is satsifying to take the deer through the entire process of consumption yourself.

the place i go to charges $50 for each deer no matter how big or if u already skinned and gutted it. i have processed my own deer before but it takes time if you kill more than 1 at a time. i would just go to the cheapest place if they do a good job. theres nothing wrong with the meat that i get.

I do some custom butchering on the side. I get $70-$100 /deer. Pending on what they want done and size. I keep the hide. No fancy stuff, steak roast or burger. I do make some Jerkey but they pay dearly for it.
