With this crumby weather. All it does is rain here in Iowa. No rain all summer and October rolls around and it seems to rain everyweek, we have had over 6"s of rain this month alone. Crazy but at least the rain will help keep the pipes from freezing when the temperatures drop but it sure screws up the bowhunting. I know buy some raingear (frog togs) and get out there but I cannot stand getting soaked even with wet weather gear on.[:'(]Oh well may just have to suck it up and go anyway cause the deer have been moving well at least on the roads.

I am just glad the weather has cooled (at least some) up here (Western NY). I was starting to think I would need to hunt in short sleeves.

I can take rain tho...but am glad it is no longer 85. that blew.

It does add some challenges and takes a lot of the fun out of things. I checked the computer this morning and they are calling for more rain everyday this week....

We're 14.5"+ short on rain, this year. I'd sit in a few weeks if we could get some much needed rain. We may have mandatory restricitons (further....we already have some) implemented, soon.
