alright my dad shot at a doe saturday morning he said he was spot on. But the deer ducked when he shot he hit the deer and had a pass threw the arrow was full of dark blood but there was no blood on the ground we looked for the deer but could not find it. What do you think that happend?

He missed the vitals without a doubt. I did the very same thing on a hog a few weeks ago.

I'm not no expert but I seen deer with what looked like either broadheads/bullet cuts on the back living good that is till they met the fellow that shot a little straighter!!!! Its cool up there so probaly no infection--she will probaly be ok!!
