Default Deer sightings

Well I like to read what others are seeing, so here is what I saw tonight, I posted this in my team thread also.

7 deer around me, 3 does 4 bucks.

Bucks were 1.5 6
1.5 8
1.5 8
2.5(I think) 9 120'' was my guess. He is not wider than his ears yet. I put him at 220 lbs on the hoof.

3 does were out for about an hour. The big 9 pushedone a bit(which is why I suspect 2.5). Two little 8's spared for a bit also.

Back at it in the morning

I'm pretty sure I called in a 6pt with theCan tonight, as he showed up at 5:50PM, about 5-10 mins after I turned the Can a couple of timesjust to see what would happen. I had no plans on killing this deer, so I tried to get a pic of him. He just stood there looking for the "doe", for like 5 mins. Totally still. He just turned and headed back into the thicket. No pic![:@]
Then agroup of 4 doe came at 6:20PM, after the buck. This is part of why I believe this buck was reacting to the Can.Anyway, so much for the Oct lull! The rut is just around the corner, can't wait.

The morning hunt I saw 2 mature does, 3 yealings, and a 1.5 year old six point harassing one of the does. Young, dumb, and you the know the rest. This evening I reluctantly hunted a stand my brother in law took a doe out of this morning. Did see anything until I was going to put my bow down and saw four does one or two looked to be yearlings, couldnt really tell. For some reason I am seeing deer every time out which is a change from years past!

I saw what I think was a nice buck just before shooting ,ight this morning. Looked to have a really big bodythru the binocs.

Then this afternoon I had 3 bucks come thru. Two yearlings a 6 point and an 8 point and a 2.5 year old 8 point, maybe 120". For now I am holding out for something a little bigger in IL.
