I hope they nail the idiot.

Years ago, I was bowhunting in a portabletree stand when a young kid (<12 yrs? and trespassing) came thru my thicket with a shotgun near the end of shooting light, passing about15 yds away. He was wearing white boots(!);I had initially picked up the flash, thinkinghere comes a deer. The shotgunlooked as big as the kid. I decided to keepquiet, not knowing what his reaction would be - I would have yelled like a banshee if he ever looked up at me... Something about that kid w/gun scared the crap out of me...

Wow, this happened only a few minutes away from me. Tragic to say the least, hopefully the kid recovers full and they catch the creep who shot him.

A unbelieveable mistake or something else??? Kinda makes you wonder if this squirrel hunter was a squirrel hunter at all. And bigtim how old are you??? I can't even read what you are writing with all the typos.

Thats sad! This is the exact reason I'm all for the wearing of a back tag law! I'm willing to bet if there was there's a good chance in catching this loser! Thats how Cha Vang was caught, a wounded hunter wrote his back tag number in the dirt on the ATV he was hiding behind! Needless to say a sad story![:'(]

Boy, this kind of thing makesme furious. One thing you can't teach someone is common sense.
Shooting in the dark and then running!!! I like DavidMil's idea.... Hang him by his N*TS.

I hope the young man recovers physically and mentally unscathed! For the person who shot him whether they are a peta member or an inbred drunk, which is more likely,I hope they prosecute his a-- to the fullest extent ofthe law. How can a human being be mistaken for a squirrel? The guy was either deaf, chemically impaired or intended to shoot him.
