i need your guys help to help me find out what i did wroung

i washed my clothes in thesame scent free soap dryed them withdry sheets that are earthscent

i got up this morning showerd with scent free soap just like i always do

went to my spot got dress at the place walked to my stand

i did spook a couple of deer when i first walked into the woods about 150yards from my stand

got to my standset there i did notsee anything for a couple hour which every otherday i have seenfrom 3 to 5 deer before10.00 am

i seen one deer that come from behind me. i think he might have smelledme when he got about50 yards out he snorted alot for five mins or so but never looked at me then ran off .then 20 mins later hes back and doing the same thing for five mins or so .then left quickly again

that was all for the day and i even cut my finger when i got down from the stand holding and arrow

what did i do wroung could it have been something i did scent control wize

or was it spooking the deer heading in

i saw 3 the first hunt 3 the second hunt and five the third hunt and one today .i did not use my coon cover scent and my all season doe urine.because some of you recommend i do to get them to come in close enough i can get a shot

Some days are better than others. It's hunting, not the zoo. You need to learn to enjoy all the other aspects of hunting. Oh, have your teacherteach youabout run on sentences.

That bothers me too. It's hard to get the point of the sentence sometimes.


Bigtim, deer have INCREDIBLE noses (I'm sure you're aware of this, but had to say it). You can do as much as you can to REDUCE your chances of being scented, but I don't think you can beat a deer's nose everytime. You just got busted. It happens. Better luck next time.
