Default Smorgasbord (sp?) of game, this morning

Got into stand about 5:45. Right before first light...I could make out a few critters below me. When it got light enough to glass....I saw a couple of racoons......and right across from them (about 15') was the little fox I saw a couple of weeks ago (I assume it was him....I was two trees down from the last time I saw him. The coons nevr got any closer....but I thought that was interesting (wonder who would win THAT fight???).

Daylight ....and I heard a couple fly-downs.....and one LOUD gobbler. I ended up glassing seven gobblers.....but it sure sounded like more than that flew down. 8:15.....and I look to my right.....there's a couple deer. Ends up being more.....5 does, total.

I took the first good shot I had.....which was a quartering away at 10yds. She went 30 yds....and expired in mere seconds (5?).

Everyone have a great weekend. I have work to do.......

As Ethics chief I can not believe you let the deer suffer for 5 seconds[8D]

Now do it again!!!!
BTW those shots inside 20 yds are sooooooo nice
