My buddy just killed a good PA buck.
So I'm on my way to work at 7:15 and my homeboycalls me from the stand to see if I did any good last night...
I got about 3 words out and he says "Chit. Gotta GO." Phone dead.
5 minutes later, I get a frantic phone call... "Big Buck - not sure if I killed him or what... I think I made a good shot."
He recovered the arrow with bubbly crimson all over the blazers. We put our heads together, and opined that it would be fine to follow the blood trail just around the trail head.
I was on the phone with him for the track job, and got to hear the elation when he hit the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Man, this is areallygood buck for our area... Probably a buck pool winner.
I couldn't be happier for the guy. He's had some rough luck in the past. Definitely deserved it.

Man, i'm scheduling a weekend to get to Camp..you Pa guys are killing me. Dad hunted up there last friday and saw 28 deer. No big guys but steady action for a "ground hunter"..
