I dont think its the same deer, same blood lines but i think the one from last year both body and antlers are bigger than this year, unless its the angle which he is standing but the pic from last year looks like an older deer

I say no.
The pic of the older deer on left has smaller spread than the pic of the younger deer on the right. Quite unlikely that a deer reaching his prime years will go down in spread. There are also too many differences in the tilt of individual tines in relation to each other. The brows on the left buck hook outward at the ends and the right buck has straight brows. They do look very similar and I guess it is possible, butI doubt it. Genetic tendencies will usually continue from one year to the next. I don't see a wide racked juvenile buck decreasing in spread at 3.5 years of age. JMO here.
