Default Ya know....

If ya read this months Peterson Bowhunting Magazine..It's amazing anyone gets a quality buck anywhere. They have these critters up there with Rhodes Scholars with a nose that makes a bloodhound jealous.

They smell your trail for days/weeks just by the vegatation you crush with your boots and can basically guess your weight, better than the guy at the fair. Thus differentiating you, from other things that walk in the woods.

Article after article...basically said we have no chance!! Heck, usually I buy that mag to get pumped, after this months I feel so dejected..like who am I, to compete with SUPER BUCK!

I noticed the same thing about his past one - the other thing I notice is that when they do give helpful info, they just say the same thing over and over in each article. Let's put 6 articles into a mag and have each one say the same exact thing!

Who reads the articles! Folks it's all been wrote about before. It's not like someone is going to come up with this new tactic to kill big bucks and let you know about it. Read a magazine from 20 years ago and you can learn the same stuff. Just get the new ones to look at the pictures...LOL

Look at the companies that advertise in the magazines.....that will answer all your questions.

That's not entirely true, with ongoing research we now know vastly more about the habits and "sensory equipment" of deer than those who hunted them 20 years ago. We also have more advanced technology than they did, and much better camo. We also enjoy a much larger herd. Strangely enough though, from what I've read our success rate isn't substantially higher than their's was. Go figure...
