Default Gorilla Kong

I have the Kong stand, one question, it says in the directions to have the strap slightly angled but it seems as if you do it that way the stand doesnt quite pull tight against the tree, so i added another wratchet strap to the bottom of the stand for stability, would it be better to run the main strap right around the tree level? What are your thoughts? Also how can I get the 2 inch foam seat instead of that godly uncomfortable 1 inch so called padded seat cusion?

I use an extra ratchet strap on all my hang ons. Including my gorillas.

For the seat you can go bass pro shop and find one there and for the strap I only use the one with it and haven't had any problems yet. It snugs up tightly to the tree and when you put the foot rest down it tightens it more. Mine hasn't moved a bit!

I use a ratchet on all of my hang-ons also. It only takes a minute and I feel so much more secure.

Yes but should the main strap be straight or slightly angled? My stand now is very secure with the second strap on the bottom.

I'm pretty sure that mine is straight.

Ok cool. Mines slightly angled but not that big of a deal I can always adjust it. Thanks.
