While doing a little late morning scouting today I checked out a narrow, sparse fencerow while walking along a grassy lane that separates two standing cornfields. I've found nice rubs along the fencerow in past years indicating a good buck was around, but a first for me this morning..........a telephone pole sitting along the grass lane has been rubbed. Its definitely a rub! That is a first for me. Next time I return to the area I hope to get pics. Anybody else find telephone pole rubs? Looks like I'll be sitting inside a fews of corn on a stool Friday and Sunday.

No, but a guy I used to hunt with was hunting this buck that was rubbing on a train track timber that was propped up beside a tree. It was company land and one of the big shots from corp. came down and hunted out of his stand and killed it. It was a monster 14pt.
