Default New Bowtechs: Airbourne vs. General

Just wondering whether anyone with Bowtech tieshas the exacts specs in comparing these two bows?I've heard serveral different reports regarding the speed of the Airbourne 101. To me, an increase of 18 to 20 fps. would justify a new bow (given a smooth draw cycle and little hand shock, of course). I am presently getting 272 fps from my Switchback with 27.5 inch draw and 67 lb. draw. Think either of these would get me there? Are they both binary cams? Alsothinking of looking at the X-Force 7. Thanks in advance.

Thanks...saw that thread on the Airbourne...conflicting information about speed for Airbourne therein. Looks like the General is in the same range as the Guardian. What significant improvements have been made?

The General is shorter, quieter, significantly higher brace height and even less recoil and shot feel.

Airborne stuff:

Airborne 82
6 1/8 brace
60, 70
26 1/2 - 30 1/2 draw length
36 1/2 ATA
4.2 lbs
342 - 350 speed mods
95.23 peak KE
330 - 338 smooth mods
Adjustable 65%-80%

AirBorne 101
7 1/4 brace
60, 70
27 1/2 - 31 1/2 draw length
36 1/4 ATA
4.2 lbs
332 - 340 speed mods
89.86 peak KE
320 - 328 smooth mods
Adjustable 65%-80%

Yeah, sometimes you have to look through those threads until you see something posted by someone with "BowTech Corporate Staff" in their sig... [:-]

LOL... sorry, I'm in one of those moods tonight.

I don't see how this is possible,,,,I believe it, but after owning a Guardain I don't know how it could be any quieter or any less hand shock. I can't wait to shoot one. It will have to be what you say for me to give up my Guardian for a General or Airbourne

Great information guys! Thanks. Mathews is going to have to come up with something pretty special or I'll be going with a Bowtech.
