I took a small cull buck this weekend. While field dressing, I noticed a very small white "worm" wriggleing in the intestines? Does anybody know or has seen this before?

If the were flattened, they were tapeworms. If they were long, thin and tapered at the ends, they were probably roundworms.
I've seen both in deer. I once saw a young deer that was just full of roundworms. It was gross, but I still ate it and it tasted great. (ate the deer, not the worms)
Wild critters are crawling inside and out with parasites. We just never notice most of them.

Yeah I killed a doe a couple years ago that was absolutely full of them. I think they are fairly common, it seems like I have heard of this quite a bit. Like Christine said I ate the deer also and it tasted fine.
