I have about 1 million acorns in all of my spots, give or take 1 or 2 of course .

The mature oaks around here are LOADED, not all dropping, most are, but not all.

I heard there was supposed to be an off year for the white oak acorn, but after this weekend I found this was a bunch of bull.

The late freeze this past spring got 'em around here. The reds are dropping, but I haven't seen a white oak acorn, or any persimmons at all this year. Not a one.

Yeah, lots of Red, Black, and Pin Oak Acorns. But I thinkthe White Oaks got hit by that late freeze we had in April. None around here this year.

The white oaks are dropping so many nuts that I think it's gonna be a tough year for me. To many oak trees so the deer can pig out anywhere they want. They are gonna have enough mast to last until spring.
They have even stopped eating the apples in front of my game cam so I am starting to believe they like acorns just as much.

Plenty of acorns here in Indiana. I got pelted a few times yesterday from them dropping. I hunt out of a white oak...
