Where did all the deer go???About two weeks ago I shot a doe from one of my stands. I had a bait pile with apples and corn the deer were comeing in good. After I shot the deer a nother even cam in and look around and I tryed to get a nother arrow but in prossecs I dident. Now The spot I was hunting the deer stoped coming into but turkeys are there. Where do you think the deer whent and how do I fix this problem? O and I could not find the deer I ran out of blood so would this have anything to do with this I only hunted this spot once sence I shot the doe two weeks ago. Thanks for any help.

YOU mean the deer dont like me anymore

It is prolly because you saturated the area with human scent in the proccess of putting out bait, and looking for your deer, and even just walking to and from your stand. The deer probably werent use to high levels of human activity in this area and might even avoid this area for a while. I would say try to stay out of the area for a few weeks and let them settle down again, and they will prolly use the area again.

Dont put any bait down thenthey wont pattern you like they did. Why would a deer want to come into a bait pile before dark when the can sit on it for 7 hours after dark??? If you know know that answer then you can make your decision

The rest of the deer dont want to be wounded so they are stearing clear.

ok but the thing is the deer are not coming in at all and I know many other people that can keep shooting deer out of a bait pile.
