Default persimmons

What are your thoughts of persimmons a food source? I was scouting today and found a few persimmon trees in an overgrown/abondoned house area. I hung a stand in the area in a big white oak tree, about 25 yards from the grove of trees.

If the deer find them they will eat them as fast as they hit the ground.

This shouldn't take long.

Make sure to have your camera with you.

You should have one heck of a spot when they start falling. A good friend of mine hunts some persimmons and always has good luck. Go ahead and but down some bone for our team, cause I am not seeing anything but does.

It's like candy, but usually shortlived. If you can, hunt it the few days that the persimmons are hitting the ground. Trust me, the deer know where those trees that you found are too. Hunt it quick, you might have luck.

Lemme know.

I have never been fortunate enough to find them or even know what they look like so I did a google. Is this what they look like?
