I'm looking out the window, right now. I need the sun to go back in the clouds like it was this morning.....and the wind to stay up (Blowing about 15mph in the GOOD direction). If the sun stays out........I'm in (the house).

We just had a thundestorm blow over, it sucked all the humidty out of the air.

yeah Im gonna be heading out pretty soon.........whether its hot or cold, its hunting and being in the woods. Gotta love it!

I will be going out shortly but only for a few hours.The deer in one of the staging areas near acornfield I hunt have been moving regardless a couple of hours before dark in front of my trail cam. I had a tense standoff with some nice does a few weeks ago under similar conditions (they didn't see me but knew something was up) and was getting bit by mosquitoes by the time I got down. No way am I going out!! After all my season is not even open if you can believe that.The whole world is hunting and I'm scratching myself.
I'm still putting up stands and ground blinds for later use.
Neat part is I found three sheds in the last couple of weeks right by my stands. AGOOD 8pt and a chewed up 12pt I think. So at least I know they made it thru the winter. Funny thing is I never saw these two deer last year. They musta snack by me while I was napping.

We are heading out to hunt shortly. Temps are horrid here too.Barely made 60. ;) No sweating here!! :D Well if I could kill something there might be a little sweating dragging it out since Tyler gimped out on me and sprained his ankle. He is limping out to his spot though to hunt. It's not too far.

1 hour and I am heading out, southwest wind, 86 out but my stand area shaded so they might come.

Im not but I just seen deer moving on my drive home 2:30pm. they where just walking downa tree line feeding. Did not expect to see them this early in the day with the heat.

It's 92 out in central IL, I will not be going out in this crap.
