Default Every shot...version XVII

I had my 1st shot with the longbow tonight. I was on the ground & had Doe @ 15-16 yds, and she ducked me clean. I was real happy that my shot flew true and went where I intended, she was just a bit quicker than my arrow. I believe she caught me drawing, but I don't know for sure as I was focused on her rib cage. She didn't spook real bad, hung around at 30 yds for 5-10 minutes wondering what happened. Then she blew and left.

Something you're not telling us????....lol

Sorry you didn't get your doe....but I commend you on the pursuit. I'll be doing this (longbow) next season. Good luck to you, rybo!

I just kind of threw some numbers up there, I wasn't sure where we stood.

Yea this is my 1st year with it. I'm also trying to do it from the ground too. Mauser if you do want to get into it I can point you to the shop that set me up, they helped me out a ton.

Nice shooting, sometimes all that practice pays off. Keep your chin up you only missed by a foot. [:-]
