Just one correction, that ankle shot is the same picture from police/firearm site and it was a shotgun blast. I think the site is called The GunZone that has it as a warning photo about mishandling firearms. Disgusting but not made by a bear. Take care.

That story is several years old but still gruesome. Maybe with some salve and a good vet they can bring back both of them to running order[8D]
