deer Processing.

I was just wondering how much you guys paid to get your deer processed. I could do my own if i wanted to but i dont want to so i pay 50 bucks to the guy and get it done. Thats just for a regular butcher nothing special at all.

50 bucks for a whole deer, or 15 if you skin and quarter. that's for cube and grind, sausage is extra

Depends on what I am making out of the deer. Steaks and such I go to the processor. If I am jsut making jerky and tamales then I do it myself.

WOW $50 thats cheap up here i think the goin rate is around $125 a deer, and thats why i do all my own butchering, have 2 butchers in the family so that really helped things out.

Not very many butchers do it around here anymore, after CWD entered the area. Don't want to taint their equipment. I think the price is about $100 for the ones that do it.

We have a local butcher who does it for $50 -- never used him but I understand that there is still a lot of work to do when you get the meat back.

I've always done my own.
