Default Bowtech and Savage Arms

If I missed this somewhere forgive me. However, I have heard some rumors that Savage Arms company has bought out bowtech. Any truth to this? Or is it strictly a rumor? Greg....Matt... anyone?

I thought savage was more of an investor than owner.

An investor is an owner. But I thought Bowtech was a privately owned company.

it could be, but that doesn't mean they don't have investors anyway...

I have not heard anything, but putting two innovative companies together would not be bad at all.

I heard their new bows will be the most accurate and have the finest triggerson the market, but nobody will buy them b/c they say "Savage" on the limbs.

I heard that rumor from a customer at the shop the other day, but he heard from AT, so I didn't put any stock in it. I figure the general public won't know anything about that kind of stuff until after it happens...Which is why I personally just don't pay any attention to rumors.
