What's your "record"

We have it pretty good here in Illinois. I rarely sit in a stand without having at least a few deer in range sometime during the hunt. They are usually does, fawns, and small bucks, but they are deer and they are in range. Having said that, my first hunt of the year (yesterday a.m.) resulted in no deer in range. I saw six does and one buck, but the closest any of them got was 75 yds.

I honestly don't remember the last time that I was out without seeing a single deer, first day this year I saw over a dozen, probablly closer to 20, Monday I saw 3 in the morning at a new spot and over a dozen in the evening, yesterday morning I saw 2 and yesterday evening was another 3 along with 38 turkey

Wow i dont know what i would do, some of you guys are really patient. in eight years of bowhunting....about16 times i think. A two/year average is about right looking back, and those sits result most of the time from 'busted' hunts....by coyotes, people, etc. That is not counting last year, i always had 40+ sits in a year before I filled my tags.

I've had years that I've only seen 6-7 deer in a1 1/2 month season.Last year was a good year I saw at least 1 deer every sit. Year before I only saw 17 deer all year. Hopefully this year will be a good one.

Ive never kept track neither, but if i was to guess i'd have to say at least 10 sits. it just depends on where i decide togo hunt. If i hunt near town deernumbers are higher,or if i go out to the big woods, sightings can be alot lower there.

.
oe ratio). I won't apologize for having a good place to hunt, though!
