Hmmmm............looks pretty good

You shot it?
I wish! I just found the pictures over at ArcheryTalk. Looks pretty interesting. Apparently this bow is taking the place of the Tribute according to various rumors.

I'm not suprised the Tribute is a goner.
I thought they would either lighten it like they did for the 07 Allegiance or drop it.

I like the black (anodized) cams. I never liked Bowtech's silver cams.

For such a short ATA, that also seems to be a generous brace height.

Heres some specs on the other 2 new bows. Nobody has posted pictures yet though. From what I've read these do not use the center pivot design.

Speed bows;

Airborne 101
A-A 36 1/4"
Brace 7 1/4"
Mass Weight 4.2lbs
IBO 332-340

Airborne 82
A-A 36 1/2"
Brace 6 1/8"
Mass Weight 4.2lbs
IBO 344-352

Just curios, why dont you duys like the shorter bows? I prefer them when hunting out of a stand.

I've had my eye on a Bowtech commander for a few months now. I shot one at a pro shop and it is wisper smooth and fast. saving my nickels and dimes.

I am liking the specs on the Airborne 101. Longer ATA, good brace height and plenty of speed. And I've read that it also includes the same roller cable guard and string suppressor similar to the General. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

I like the looks of the bow, except for the string suppressor and roller guard. I think that could be designed much better... hopefully it's just a prototype with ideas

I think my choices this year are going to be a General for hunting and a Marquis for 3D.
