It's not too hot for us in Louisiana. We have 80 degree plus days up into December. It's the bugs that suck.

It is for me. It was mid 70's here on Monday evening and I skipped it. Of course, knowing that an immediatebutchering job would be in order if I scored also was a factor since I had to work.

That is pretty warm. IMO the deer will move well in the morning and then again late evening. I am facing the same kind of temps for this weekend and I will be out there, bug suit and all. I will be coming in earlier in the morning and going out a bit later in the evening with temps that high.

The only thing that should get in the way of hunting is family

The only activity I saw last night were 2 doe's(Ithink they were)at 7:00 and it was a little too dark to shoot. It was 67 degrees.I couldn't make out thier heads at 30 yards. So I wouldn't shoot a spike or little buck I passed.
I'd opt for a morning hunt if given the choice.

Yes in my opinion. The weather has got to cool down before I'll get out again.

i once had a man much wiser than myself tell me i was just wasting days i coulda been hunting if i could be out there and im not cough...Rob...cough

which is right on. over the 9 years as a hunter, ive found it impossible to see or kill anything from my couch. today is gunna be pretty warm....but, im heading out later on after class. going to sit high on an oak ridge and hopefully do some observing with the binocs. need to figure out where the deer come from...a couple different possible bedding areas....and wont shot a doe...need to find a butcher here at school before i whack a nanny. a buck....id do what it takes for...sad enough to say lol. but i can find does if i want one later...exspecially if i do my observing this evening and pin them down pretty good...

I'm hoping for temps in the 80s this evening. Its been 90s everyday for a while now. Its raining now and if the cloud cover keeps the temps in the 80s I'll hunt this evening.
