Out of every 100 guys who claim to be hunters there may be a couple thattruly fit the bill. You strike me as one of the few and Isalute your style and attitude.
Some guys do it right and some guys just TRY to do it. Atta Boy on the whole deal from start to finish

Good Lord you guys are making me feel a little overwhelmed. I'm not some hero, I only feel like I did everything that any one of us should have done in the same circumstances. I think that effort needs to be in all of us.

Do I think that every hunter out there feels the same way , or would go to those lengths? I'm not stupid but I think there is a lot of it it in everyone of you who has thanked me, and congratulated me over the last 24hrs. There is a reason that you took the time to do so. YOU CAN RELATE.

I feel a sense of responsibility that is overwhelming everytime I or a friend lets an arrow fly. A responsibility to see it come to a conclusion. Thats all it is.
It hurt like hell but that's all it was.

I cannot stress to you all enough how humbled I am by the outpouring of feelings and emotion for someone most of you only know as a screenname beyond your keyboard.
Thank you all and I'm glad the story brought some feeling and enjoyment into your day, however brief.

No, you certainly aren't a hero. We know how humble you truly are. But, you're story IS an inspiration, and for us to view it as anything else would be foolish. It's the stories in life that make life what it is, some are just a little more............twisted, than others. And sometimes, you just have to take a stick in the eye to see it.

I'm sorry I didn't get to check this sooner. Thats one hell of a story man! You definitely exerted every effort to find your buck. There are no words to describe your determination.

You have inspired me tonight. I've lost one doe to an arrow before.Looking back, probablycould have found her. Definitely didn't search for 3 days, honestly.If/WHEN I do it again, I will have put forth the effort that you did. I will know that I've done all that I could have. Thanks for the inspiration brother!
