Kent.

I sat in this big box blind for most of the day and did not see a thing in downtown Burleson, They just was not moving the way I thought they would have.

It could have been the heat or the traffic scared them off I just dont know.

I even had a big ole corn pile out but no takers[8D]

Went out in the morning but didn't expect too much, which was a good thing. It's still a bit warm but the full moon didn't help. Seems they're mostly feeding at night.

I passed up opening day in East Texas in a town called Avinger. I tend to skip opening weekend in Texas becausue of the heat. The best time seems to be about 2 weeks before gun season.

I hunted Sunday morning and night and I hunted this morning. It was hot but I saw a few deer each hunt. I also saw some baby turkeys out for a snack with their mamma. I shot a doe this morning. The heat really makes processing a deer a chore.
