I was fortunate enough to get to hunt w/ our own jmbuckhuntr this evening, and had a blast. Thank you, sir! I can't wait to do that again!
Anyway, ole moDOEhuntr here showed some SERIOUS restraint! I had a doe walking w/in 20 yards of my stand for an hour and a half this evening, and I didn't shoot her! What is the world coming to???? I still can't believe it. Ok, so that's the THIRD doe I COULD have killed this year, and haven't released an arrow yet......What the?????

You better get that out of your system FAST. You can't carry on this reputation if you go and decide to shoot a buck on us.
You have orders to hold off the doe's or are you still trying to finish some of last years meat?

It IS hard to do sometimes... We all understand that.
I think I wrote last year about the conflicting nature of turning into more of a trophy hunter and the fact that I still just plain love to shoot deer with my bow!!!

The pleasure was all mine, Don. We will do it again!!
Maybe next time that doe will decoy a buck in for ya. I bet your not used to hunting with the neighbors yelling at one another and all of the other things going on in the neighborhood, either huh? Next time I am putting the blind in the back of my pickup and hunting there. I can shoot the ones crossing the yard that way.
And a big thank you to the THERMACELL Inventor. Wouldn't have stayed long without one tonight. Those things are amazing. Light it up and no more bugs, simply wonderfull!
