Hey guys, my first post here, but I'm going to be getting a new bow this week, and need some help!
I've never had a new bow before, so they've always been set-up already. Well this week I want buy a Fred Bear Instinct and want to know what things I'll be needing to get to compliment it without breaking the bank.
I'll be using it to hunt whitetail too, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Agreed, I think thats true with most things. But I don't want to walk in and get swindled into buying something I don't need. I'm a college kid, I need all the cash I can get. So i'd like to be frugal about this, but still set up a quality rig, ya know?

ok i personaly like the Q.A.D. ultra rest it is a drop away but if price is a concern many like a whisker buiscut for hunting it will be cheaper . there are a lot of good sights out there look for one in your price range . you also state your new to this i hope your not gearing up with this new bow to go hunt with it as soon as you get it you should practise first

Its Hard to tell someone what THEY need!!!Cause what I like the next fellow may say that is junk!!!
All I can stress is you know how much you have to spend --Get the best you an afford--I don't mean only the expensive is the best--but if it looks cheap built it usually is!!
If you have a friend that shoots look at his stuff---If you are going to a pro shop to buy ask alot of questions????

Haha, yeah I know I'm going to need to shoot with it a lot, but I will be going out there pretty quickly... I wont have high hopes, but ya know, just going to go.
And yes, Im bringing a friend with to the shop, but i'd still like to get some more imput.
But are whisker biscuits created equally? Meaning is it possible to pick a stinker?

no you can't pick a stinker some are just in camo or have a slot to slide the arrow in . I personaly don't like the contact on the fletching but for the price its good at holding the arrow and for stalking
