Good reason to miss opening day
I was a little hesitant to post something like this but many of you are my friends and I wanted you to know.
I've got to be one of the happier guys guys to miss an opening day. My mom had a kidney transplant yesterday and things seem to be going real well. Obviously we still have to keep our fingers crossed that it isn't rejected, but the surgery went well, the kidney is functioning, and she's doing very well. Keep us in your thoughts guys.

RE: Good reason to miss opening day
Great news rybo.
Thoughts and prayers for your mom and family coming your way.
Opening day is pretty meaningless when put into perspective by something like this.
Besides...........you don't kill the big boys until Halloween anyways
