Getting the stench out of rubber boots?
What's the best way to rid my rubber boots of my foot smell? I've been wearing my rubber boots that I wear for hunting this preseason while hanging and moving some stands. They have developed a pretty bad odor due to my sweaty stinky feet[:'(][:-] Throw them in the wash? Set them in the rain? Fill them with cow crap? Dump coon urine in them? What do you think?

Two things.....#1. Take you scent free detergent and drop it in there. Fill with water making it soapy and let it sit for awhile then let them air dry out. #2 I have put baking soda in mine boots and it takes some of the stink out.

After you get the funk out of the boots, do a little preventive maintenance before your next hunt, and spray your feet down with anti-perspirant (sp), or rub em down with arm and hammer solid unscented deodorant. Makes a big difference.
