Glad you could make it out. Nice picks too. I hope you triple layered your sock to keep the skeeters at bay.

Thanks everyone, Kurt thanks you too.

Tonight we had a great night too. Made it out around four. I walked in this time, prolly just shy of a half mile, maybe less. That was work. Kurt picked me up after dark. Not sure how often I'll walk in but then again, I know me.

Kurt had most of the action tonight. 7 does and 2 bucks visited the food plot. All of them under 10 yards at one point. The one buck a 4 point the other a legal 5 point. The 4 point dogged the does, the does are not ready. White tarsal glands but the 4 point was persistant.

I'm sure someone would misread it and post "THE RUT IS ON"...lmao...NOT. [8D]

The deer kept us in the trees longer than we would have liked. I kept glassing Kurt and the deer were under him. I got down and sat at the base of my trees watching firefly's light in the leaves....no skeeters, it was a cool 51 degrees. The magic hour proved right but Kurt passed on the legal buck. Hell it's the first day.

Rob,

Great to see you made it out. Thanks for sharing the pictures really appreciate them.

I did not draw blood today, but my friend drilled a good doe in the afternoon so I decided to help him with the drag out.

Take care, rest upand good luck with the rest of the season.
