WHO WOULD THUNK IT!
Unbelievable!!...I had this farm I've hunted for years..Nice local farm..took a doe last year there and many sightings!
So all summerI knock on her door..she was a very very old lady, who lived alone. No answer al summer, Finally like 2-3 weeks ago I stick a note in her door, figuring the worst.. but someone is keeping up the property..she has long sinced leased out farming rights to others.. I go back a week and a half later. My note is still in the door!! Thats not good!!
Sitting here killing time playing texas hold'em on full tilt poker, the phone rings..unknown number. The grown Son calls me from Phoenixville PA (where-ever that is) and tells me I can still hunt!! The Old Mrs. (namewithheld) is alive but unwell and staying with relatives. He said hunt on last years permission and send me a form I can sign for this year.
The final hour I score an old stand-by!! Man, how nice some folks are!
