Depends on the cover.....

This morning....I was at 13-14'.....and I had deer right under me. I'll get up to 25' at other times.....but stick around 20', most times.

I won't go higher then about 15 feet. I don't like the angle if I go higher, especially if I have deer in close, which is where I want them.

My lowest stand is 9 feet to from my feet to the base of the tree...my highest is about 3 times that. I have a spot I want to hang one at over 30 feet, but am not sure if I want to....the swaying wont be so pleasant and very difficult to aim, also...the cottonwood is only about 8" accross up there. The topography dictates it needs to be that high.

My lowest stand is 15 feet. I like to be higher than that though. My other ladder stands are 18 feet. I also have a new stand this year that is 22 feet. If im in my climber I always like to be at least 20 to 25 feet if possible. sometimes 30.

I try to stay around 15. It is pretty thick where i hunt so the cover is tough to deal with. I will go higher if the cover/shooting lanes require it. I never go any higher than my rope (25 ft).

15 to 20 depending on the cover and the location.

Depends on the cover.....
Ditto!!

Most times 15-18' with a hang-on stand, with a climber, maybe a little higher.
